TweetMind Public Beta opened up. Wanna try TweetMind? Now you can.

To get started add and account and make sure you set it to "Active"! A proper getting started wizard will be added soon

*Some of these are now fixed - scroll down for progressive release notes*
There are still a number of outstanding bugs/issues:

You can't view your favourites from inside TweetMind
The getting started wizard doesn't work yet
Right clicking on users always shows you the follow option and never unfollow. If you click it when you're already following a user it throws an error
Protected users aren't dealt with especially well if you try and look them up when you're not "friends"
Notifications are missing their pretty little icons
Some right click options (follow all, reply all) aren't done yet
There are still some outstanding parsing issues for badly formed tweets. e.g. blahhttp://www.dirtmind.com doesn't parse properly
Drag and drop of usernames to tweet boxes and group forms isn't working yet
Group notifications don't exist
Groups can't dock at the moment
Refresh buttons don't actually do a refresh, more of a redraw
Sometimes scrollbars get screwey on Group forms
Mouse wheel interaction is a bit hit and miss
The hints on the Options form have weird \n and \\n bits in them

On the other hand I think it's stable enough and good enough to try out. If you're new to twitter and haven't used a client before then leave it for now, but if you've ever used something like twhirl or tweetdeck then it's worth giving this a go. We've made TweetMind out of frustration with the limitations of other clients so it's got more features and is simpler to use than most

Fixed a bug that was showing an error message when looking up searched for users' information which is caused by twitter using different user IDs for normal stuff and search
Also implemented a small change that should improve the drawing of group tweets

Fixed a bug that sometimes caused an error when shutting down
Improved Group loading,saving and renaming logic
Made big performance improvements on follower and following user information
Resolved flicker in the tweet box
Fixed a bug that caused the old versions of TweetMind to auto-run rather than the updated version when the "auto-run on startup" option was selected
Added functionality to view blocked users (currently only shows 20 should be fixed tomorrow) - There's also friends and followers menu entries but they don't do anything yet!

Had a major disaster this week. Did loads of awesome work on user management for blocked, following and followers (see sneaky peek) but then left the source code in the wrong office. That means I can't get to it until Tuesday. I still want to make a release however as I'd fixed a lot of small bugs that affected visual display, following/unfollowing and stuff. As a result the "show me" menu and user functions are disabled in this version. Expect them at the end of next week!

Made some changes to the auto-run option, I'd really appreciate some feedback from a vista user as to whether this works. Make sure that it auto-runs the latest version by looking in the about box!

Add right click follow and unfollow commands
Fixed a bug that was displaying friends and followers the wrong way around in some situations (only in 1.0.0.4)
Added cool info hints on usernames - hover over a tweet author's name to see whether they're following you, their follower counts etc.
Incorporated the ability to tweet group members for #followfriday and similar
Added a new advanced option to control how the follow stats cache works
Made the refresh buttons on tabs actually do a refresh, they used to just make it redraw
Fixed a bug that caused the balloon hints to show all the time, even when you'd clicked them in the hope that they'd go away
Added basic Blocked User listing and management (unblocking doesn't work just yet)
Added basic Followers listing and management
Added basic Following listing and management
